• Consent: To process your health data, we rely on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Contract: We process your data to fulfil the contract for the weight loss programme between you and Goodweigh.
• Legal obligations: Certain data is processed to comply with legal obligations, such as maintaining medical records.

How long we store personal data

Goodweigh does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. The personal data collected is stored for as long as you are registered to use (among other things) our website. Thereafter, the collected data may be retained for historical, statistical or scientific purposes, in which case Goodweigh endeavours to store it in a form that no longer allows you to be identified. Medical data is stored in accordance with the statutory retention periods for medical records.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Goodweigh shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary to fulfil the agreement and to comply with any statutory obligations. We enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. Goodweigh remains responsible for this processing. In addition, Goodweigh discloses your personal data to other third parties. We do this only with your explicit consent.

• Partner pharmacies: To ensure you receive the medication you need, we share relevant personal data with our partner pharmacies. This includes sharing your prescriptions and other necessary medical information. Furthermore, we may use this data to check for contraindications via the national contact point (LSP). This ensures that the medication is safe to use in combination with other medicines you may be taking.
• Prescribers: For optimal treatment, it is sometimes necessary to share your medical data with your treating doctor. This enables your doctor to gain a complete picture of your health situation and tailor your treatment accordingly. This also includes the transfer of your patient data as part of the online questionnaire to which you have given your consent.
• Payment processors: To process your payments securely and efficiently, Goodweigh works with Stripe. When you make a purchase on our website, your payment details (e.g. credit card or bank details) are processed directly by Stripe. Goodweigh does not have access to these payment details. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to attach a copy of your identity document to the request. In this copy, you must black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine-readable zone, the number series at the bottom of the passport), passport number and personal identification number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
